I took this photo over the weekend. The light, the subject, and the look on Kelsey’s (our chocolate lab) face had me grabbing the camera to capture the moment.
I call this picture….The Optimist
That is what Kelsey is, ever the optimist. Always looking on the bright side. Food may drop at any time and when it doesn’t come her way she wanders off to entertain herself until the next food opportunity. She can be sound asleep snoring away but will be instantly awake and ready to go for a walk, have a snack, or play with her favorite toy.
I want that
I want that feeling of optimism. I want that ability to not get what I want and be able to move on, quickly. I want to be able to wake instantly and be ready to go. I want to live in the moment and not be dwelling on the ones to come.
